And besides, I've personally met Maestro Dudamel.. As I was at the performance of my teacher.. A Tiny well known Violinist Gil Shaham.. When he presented him the Avery Fischer Career grant..

@fattry2000 it is to the music. he beats in two then he beats the final chord. the video is so choppy so its hard to tell, but in another video of the the 9th you can see very easily. Everything he does has to do with the music. It would be silly for a conductor of his calibre to be beating 'not to the music'.
