Drum solo 2011

Completely improvised drum solo recorded on august 6 2011, first and only take. I'm really satisfied with this one (very unusual), guess I had a really good day. Hope you like it!

Drums: Tama Granstar 24" bass, 12" rack tom, 16" floor tom
Snare: Pearl Sensitone 14"x6,5" brass

Meinl Byzance 18" thin crash
Sabian HHX 21" groove ride
Stagg SH 10" splash on top of Meinl Classics 12" china
Meinl Byzance 16" vintage trash crash
Meinl Byzance 6" splash
Zildjian Oriental 20" crash of DOOM

Sound recorded with Rode NT-5 overhead, Shure SM57 on snare and AKG D112 on kick. Fast Track Ultra audio interface, GarageBand.

Video recorded with Canon EOS 500D and 18-55mm kit lens. Video and audio synced in Adobe Premiere Elements.

@Adam94in Thanks! That's some hand-foot-combination rolls (also called Portnoy-fills because Mike does that all the time :) ), sticking is: RLRLBB or RLBB. For example 4x snare and 2x bass, or snare, tom, bass, bass. Double pedal obviously helps.
