3 Sqn 19 ship startup for flyover RNZAF Base Ohakea. 14 Iroquois and 5 Sioux helicopters

VERY VERY rare moment when the entire RNZAF 3 Squadron fleet of 14 Iroquois and 5 Sioux helicopters are all serviceable and can fly all at the same time. Here we saw a 19 ship Flypast over RNZAF Base Ohakea. Also watch the flyover its self http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BT7vkl3Dw2A

@Kirkzzy i agree. they could probably perform a strike operation on a specific group of targets provided the country theyre operating in doesnt have fast jets or AA defences using C130s and the SAS. As for invasion and occupation..i cant think of many countries where thats feasible. Nor can i think of any plausible scenarios where it may be necessary

@kinsley2108 What I was trying to say about the original comment of "new zealand could invade countrys without a problem..." is that you need either fast air power or an amphibious assault capability (for the pacific, which is NZ's operational theatre).. unless you are going to paratroop people in (C-130). In which you still have limited numbers of C-130s and your only paratrooper infantry are the NZSAS. If it was invading a country by land.... well you have very limited armour...
