Hm ok, I'm thinking of the resonated version because I''m also going for the Milltek sportscat. They say it will be too loud if you're on sportcat and use also the non resonated version is this true? Because I don't want to have the annoying droning etc while driving on motorways.. And the resonated version gives the same power in combination with the sportscat but its only bit quiter then right?
Best regards from Holland!

Well done, I will have my 1.7 Puma tuned in about 2 a 3 months! :)
Can't wait, hope to gain at least 35hp with full exhaust, manifold, racecat, cams, vernier pully and optimal chip. Hopefully the puma will then have about 160hp! ittle cannon on 1000kg:), how much hp do you have with the current setup? about 140?

what your hearing is the non resonated version with a decat, so its at its loudest here. I never found it too loud though, not at all. The drone of the induction kit created most noise under the bonnet going down the motorways.

Thanks for commenting. The only engine mods that puma had were full stainless miltek including the 4-2-1 Mani and decat along side an induction kit. It's probably only unlocked about 10bhp if that. It had a bit more low down torque when the Mani was fitted but apart from that it didn't feel much quicker, and wouldn't be unless I started upgrading to FRP inlet, cams and remap etc. I've since sold the car.
