Thank you GrandpaJim777, I really enjoyed hearing him preach as I have read many of his books. Did he ever do a a sermon on life after death?

Thanks for the comment. I don't know if Pastor Lutzer did a sermon on life after death, but you have probably read his book "One Minute After You Die". It's a great little book.

@MissMarcyMathis meaning before the abomination of desolation....the true Christ returns after that has taken place and NOT before. So to believe that Christ is coming secretly to remove the church before that happens is false and ought not be taught. I enjoyed Lutzer until I found these videos. Sadly, he's just like a lot of other pastors that teach the "fly away" doctrine. In Ezekiel 13, God clearly says He is against those that teach His children to fly away to save their souls.

@leadee2007 You're right...the word rapture is not even in the word of God as it's a man made doctrine. There's a second advent (second coming of Christ) but that clearly comes at the 7th trump. The false or fake or antichrist (the one spoke of in Matt 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21) is coming before our Lord Jesus. And yes, he is coming to deceive the wold into thinking he IS the Messiah. This is the great falling away that the bible speaks of. Christ is not coming back before the son of perdition.

@MissMarcyMathis Where in Rev does it use the word antichrist? Are you saying that a christ imposter will come and decieve people into thinking they are going to be raptured?? The rapture is not something that one can look for because it is a taking away.

@dave0mary the great falling away is that people who believe this rapture doctrine will worship the antichrist, thinking he is our true Christ. Christ comes at the 7th trump, the antichrist comes at the 6th.....6 is BEFORE 7, right? "Anti" here means instead of, not against. The antichrist IS Satan as you read in Rev 12. People will be deceived because that are looking & waiting for Jesus and when the false, fake one comes FIRST, they won't even know. Seek God on this & ask Him to show you.

@leadee2007 I don't know when Christ is coming....but I do know that the antichrist comes first. Sadly, many pastors have twisted the Word and are teaching that Christ is secretly coming to take His church (and leave unbelievers) to endure the tribulation. Revelation 12 clearly shows who the antichrist is (Satan) and that he is coming to deceive. The word "anti"(christ) means INSTEAD of, not against like most people think. Rapture believes will be fooled as they're looking for the true Christ :(

@MissMarcyMathis Just curious, why does pre or mid or whenever rapture matter so much to you and how can you be so sure you know when it will be?

I did a search for my husband and these videos came up. He wanted to know if Erwin Lutzer teaches/believes the (pre or mid) tribulation "rapture". I first started (accidentally) listening to video #2 of three and sadly, got my answer. But because we love Erwin so much, I thought he deserved my time to listen to all 3. I don't know why I'm doing this to myself as I am completely against everyone that teaches God's children "to fly away". It may not come up until video #2 by Erwin, but it will. :(

@iHymn I completely agree with you. It says that many will come in my name...not ONLY saying "I am the Christ" (as we have seen that) but there will be the real evil ones that say "In the NAME of Jesus, I....." when Christ never sent them nor do they have any part of IN Him.
