24th of July 2010 in Prague Zoo (Czech republic) the lady-giraffe Nora gave birth a baby-giraffe. Here husband Iohann looked after the delivery and was very, very nervous. This clip has been selected for the finished film "Life in a Day"

Can you imagine how uncomfortable it must be for a pregnant giraffe, having a baby inside with four long legs (ending in hooves, yet) *and* a long neck? For that matter, it can't be much fun being a newborn baby giraffe...kicked out of a nice warm place and falling at least a foot to land all in a heap with your head under one leg! (Sure is a cute little thing, though!)
