  • Now this is a song you want to dance to and serenade your sweetheart and then it can lead to a night of passion. It was a # 32 hit on the billboad charts in 1958 and in my opinion highly underated. It is still a popular song today and heard often on the oldies stations throughout. What say you out there in 'you tube land'!!!

  • always reminds me of the film 'christine'!!!

excellent doo wop from the 50's!!

  • Doo Wop is when there was call and answer, also voices used in fills instead of instruments and "doo wop, doo wop" were the actual lyrics in some songs...listen to "I Wonder Why" by Dion and the Belmonts. Sometimes they were non-sensical but added layers to the vocals like Dom, dom, dom, dom, domy, duby, dom, dom, dom, dom, dum in "Come Go With Me" by the Del Vikings...

  • @westcath2 Where do you live now? I live down at the Shore in Cape May County but

    grew up in Media.

  • @redmk6 please tell me what is a Doo Wop

  • This song takes me back to slow, ever so slow, dancing with my high school sweetheart in Kenny's basement. Love it.

  • OH WOW!I was 17 when this song came out, Grew up in Philly listenig to Georgie Woods (the man with the goods) and I was the only white girl listening to DooWop, couldn't get enough of it also Lee Andrewrs and the Hearts (Teardrops) wavery underrated, he went to John Bartram HS in Philly with my twin brothers, by the way Ims 68 yrs old, it brings tears to my eyes listening to all the great DooWop songs, PHILLY GIRL! January 2012

  • Great song to dance the "fish" to.

  • Johnnie & Joe, Over The Mountain so similar to this. Which came 1st. Both a lot of class. Jerry Butler dug up Betty Everett from somewhere! Drug her out! Robert was afraid that Johnny wasn't in possession of all his faculties! Thought he was going to embarrass them!

  • What a reak piece of heaven!

  • I was 18 and didnot know how great this song was at the time-Now I love it.
