Beretta silver pigeon is hard to beat in my opinion, better than any semi auto i find, mainly because of the cleaning. MY friend got a browning double barrel with a custom spring stock and its recoil is nothing, not to mention the weight is feather light but he uses it for big big competitions

@danebrewer10 Yeah i can only dream though, these things are way out of my budget, at least,,,,,,,,, responsible budget :)
are clay guns heavier? Why?

@fishblade2 clay guns are heavier and have more inertia, that is, it is harder to get the gun moving from a standstill, so more of the force of the recoil is absorbed by the weight of the gun, versus a lighter gun

As far as ordering one is concerned, is it worth going to GMK an buying directly in store (quite a drive from devon), or are there any cheaper dealers available?

@jimmyjack900 no, GMK don't supply directly to the public. best bet is to ring round you local gun shops and ask if they have it in stock (most likley they will) and then get them to give you a price. that's how I did it and I think I got about £150 off or something like that but I did go to the gun shop in person having asked whether they had one....
