This version is from the 1996 "Never Too Busy" Single CD. The original version is from Lattimore's 1996 self-titled CD.

Performed by: Kenny Lattimore

Written by: Dave Hall and Kipper Jones

Remixed by: Curtis Dowd for "A Touch of Jazz"

A Touch of Jazz is the production company of Jeffrey Townes (aka DJ Jazzy Jeff).

Dave "Jam" Hall is a co-writer of three songs in my videos: "You Remind Me" by Mary J. Blige, "If You Love Me" by Brownstone, and "Never Too Busy."

And of course, we all know that Kenny Lattimore is married to R&B singer Chanté Moore!

  • I dunno how you even found this version ...I always thought the original version was dope, but WOW! after hearing this ...no competition this straight kills the original! Didn't know A touch of jazz was around since then...I miss r&b with this vibe...Seems like R&B lost it's sexy/romatic side and got all sexual and porn like..its not the same..love joints dont exist..thats why U can't beat the 90s era for this kinda sound! Great Post!

  • Thanks!

  • @Pryncenyck ,

Kills the original? You got it twisted; this version is very nice, but it doesn't need to be compared to the original. The original is great for those of us that appreciate that blend tape (i.e. mixing gutter hip hop tracks with quintessential R&B a cappellas)/mixtape feel, i.e. Hip-Hop Soul.

  • Just so awsome and jazzy! Im a pianist and love playing this kinda music!

  • @UserKim30001 / I AGREE WITH YOU!

  • @Pryncenyck Couldn't have said it any better myself.

  • On point

  • wonderful

  • i loved at this way became really sensual XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

  • @Pryncenyck I so agree this is much better than the original.

  • this is perfect baby making music

I'm 25 and love old school r&b from the 90's and 80's what happened to good music??

  • Check out this version out. youtube.com/watch?v=TGmqg8t-twU You would almost think it's the exact same one but if you pay attention attention real carefully you'll see it's slowed down by 1/2 - 1 a beat. It gives it a more mellow and sensual vibe. R&B just isn't this good anymore.
