  • This is both beautiful and creepy at the same time

  • What a fuckin' dump.

  • @rtbarnett She's a popular web comic artist who worked somewhere like this in 2005. She tells a little story about it in comic format. You can see it if you go to harkavagrant dot come slash archive dot php. It's comic number 291.

  • My initial reaction to the comin strip "D'awwww"

My reaction to the video link "Ooooo neato"

My reaction to the video "This place looks foggy, dark and scary D: "

My reaction to the realisation that my fellow vagrants were also brought here "...Awesome!"

  • Also what is this Kate Beaton webcomic everyone is mentioning, and what does it have to do with the oil sands/Suncor/Syncrude/Fort McMurray? /intruiged

  • Hahahahaha, I like how everyone thinks this is so beautiful and they want to go see it. Turning 21 and spent my teenage years in Fort Mac, site is not beautiful. 5:45 am, wait 2 hours and when the sun comes up you'll see this place looks like a fucking shithole.

  • How can I get a job there?

  • @freezemyheaddotcom Yes, it's dramatic imagery, but what it puts me in mind of is the people willing to risk life and limb out there to support their families. I agree that it's an incredibly dirty industry, but that blame lies with the scumbags at the top who pocket most of the cash and the broken system that allows them to. The workers are as exploited as the environment they work in.

  • Looks eerie and makes me feel uneasy D :

    interesting

  • reminds me of riding along the autostrada, on the way to vicenza.
