fuel millage?

how much was the supercharger? was it a noticeable increase in power? can you get pulleys that produce more boost? did it help, hurt, or leave the fuel mileage the same? would you recommend it on a work truck? we have a 1995 suburban K2500 as a tow rig/ work horse, and im about to get a vortec 454, or vortec 496 to swap into it, but first im going to tear it down to the block, the goal is 500HP, and considering i know enough people to get parts cheap, it is very possible... should be fun...

@smithkid1996 The kit was used and was missing many components, in the end was around $4000 with a few extras. This was a Lysholm 1600cc compressor, it does not have a smaller pulley available, however if it had been a 2300cc Lysholm, there are smaller available. It will tow like mad with a supercharger but will use excessive amounts of fuel, for daily driving its about the same.

What is your setup for exhaust? Headers, mufflers? Love that sound. Building my Crewcab right now.

@rangoco Running Banks Full Length Torque Tube Headers, no cats, then goes from dual 2.75" into 4" collector, then to a dynomax 4" ultra flow race muffler, mandrel bent 4" tailpipe with a 6" MBRP tip.
