Moors Valley Railway santa specials '08

What it says on the tin! Some clips of the first santa of the year, which was a nice cold, sunny day (for once!), filmed mostly in the morning while it was quiet enough to do so. In steam were Zeus, Hartfield, Sapper, Pioneer, Robert Snooks, Horton and Perseus. There's also a couple of planes getting in on the act, one of which flew over very low!

thats only about half the engines we've got! Offa's in pieces at the mo having a major overhaul, has been out of traffic for a couple of years now

Ah, yes, I visited about three years ago now, got have a look around the sheds, Offa was still in one piece then, I think 'Thor' was in the shed too, plus all the other locos, oh, and what happened to Tiny Tim?

no! tiny tim was sold as it was too small to be any use! cant remember for the life of me where it went

Oh, I liked that engine, if it was up for sale now, i'd get the ESR to buy it, as we're getting a 7 1/4 inch gauge railway there!
