Mickie stimming which is a repetitive movement. It could possibly have a calming effect on him. He can do this for hours.

  • For what I understand, kids w/ autism stim to help them deal with over-stimulation of their nervous system. Really handsome boy.

  • Yes he's having fun.

  • yes, glove play is stimming. The vocal, breathing and facial tics are tics. Its very easy to presume them all 'stimming'. When someone has tourette's tics they may stim to reduce boredom or stress which is triggering the tics. As chronic tics can be so invasive, sometimes the only easy voluntary activities left are stims.
