My friend went to the spca of Victoria Ca for adoption and all they had was pitbull,seven of them,forget it,by the way,I am a Quebecer and for joke i always said SPCA stand for ,Societer protectrice canadienne anglaise,lolol...Come on!

And what is wrong with American Staffordshire Terriers, American Pit Bull Terriers, and Staffordshire Bull Terriers? Have you researched those breeds?

No research done by me and nothing wrong with those dog Sara, The previous owner may be and with the reputations of the pitbull,forget it,Puppy no trouble i will take if i was looking for a dog ,but, a two or three years old pitbull from the SPCA !Naaaa!If my friend is right no wonder only pitbull remain there,WHY take a chance for the peoples around you,right! I kill ratlles snakes many times for self defense,Bears i face every summer,Pitbull you never know,URBAN MYTH???

It's called a temperament test. Use one.

For me or the dog? Cose i google temperament test and they actualy have a buffet of them for human! A educated guess tel me the same go for the k-9!Make him write is one thing but make him write in french well now that just silly,

Actually, the shelter already does temperament test. All SPCAs are required to use a universal temperament test. If the dog does not pass one section, they are euthanized.

I'm a 50+ yr old woman who's always had pitbulls, I have 13 grandkids who have always slept with them. The baby even fell on a sleeping one, the dog woke up, licked the baby and went back to sleep. Makes me angry when people judge all pitbulls by the ones who are raised by wanna be gangsta punks. Pits love to please their people but if their people want them to be bad, they'll do their best to please them.

when i grow up im going to buy land in texas put 4 houses for dogs and cats and a house for myself and save middle aged dogs and cats to give them a foster home till someone comes and wants them! its a dream i had when i was 9 but im thinking bout it again lol! this video inspired me!

I am very familiar with this message and I am happy to know and see more and more people are being moved by the no kill movement globally. I would like to know about the numbers used. Are they global numbers? Recent numbers? Average numbers based on which countries, etc. If anyone can answer I would appreciate a response.

@zarathoustramp i know plenty of rescue (previously fighter) pits, dobys, rots, staffs that are the biggest babies in the world!! They are so sweet and cute. You just have to show them love and trust.

Yes. And do you know WHY these idiots use pit bulls? Because they WONT BITE THEIR HANDLER even if the handler goes in to break up the fight. I've got 5 dogs. 4 are part pit. They've had their spats as a pack. And the only one that ever bit me was my pure bred golden retriever.

Yeah, there was a dog I met, and LOVED at the pound. 10 days later, when I asked if he'd been adopted yet, he hadn't, and had been removed from the list because he failed a temperment test. Give me a break. people can take those tests and shove them where the sun doesn't shine.

I wouldn't want my fate determined by a temperment test. Sounds like the Nazis all over again.

You don't know w hat you are talking about.

The Pit Bull used to be the nanny dog in the 30's. They are loyal and gentle and sweet, smart, easy to train, and wonderful in general. And if michael vick's dogs can be rehabilitated after what THEYVE been through, so can any 2 or 3 year old pit bull who might need some basic re-training.

Do the research and stop listening to the media hype
