Abbey goes to the doctor for her shots and sleeps in her own bedroom for the first time.

  • Joe, Abbey is doing great. She is almost 21 months now and takes Synthroid, a synthetic thyroid hormone, every day. Abbey's congenital hypothyroidism was identified through her newborn screening at the hospital ... if you are worried that there is a thyroid related problem, you will want your family doctor to run a "T4 Free" blood test to see if there are any thyroid related issues.
