Opening a bottle of Ramuné

This is my bro demonstrating how to open a bottle of Ramuné, a Japanese festival drink.

The bottles are sealed with a marble and come with a thing to push it into the drink. As you can see, my brother pushes the marble into the drink (more forcefully than needed) and it rests on a little indent in the bottle. Their are two more indents in the bottle to catch, stop, and "hold" the marble as the person drinks.

Sorry for the bad quality. I filmed this sideways and then tried to edit it to be facing the right way. It kind of the the bottle look squished and shorter than it really is.

Go out and buy some Ramuné. It's freaking sweet!!!

so you absolutely have to put it on a flat solid surface or can you do it in your hands

You can have it in your hands, but I wouldn't recommend it due to it's sometimes s'plodey nature! Sometimes it can be a bit messy when opened.

where do you get em?

YOu can get them at Asian food stores or other stores that sell food from other countries. They're also very abundant at anime stores and conventions. I think Suncoast sells them, too.

I just got one from suncoast today xD a strawberry one :) its really yummy, right now im trying to get the marble out...and it took me a half hour to open the soda because its my first time and i lost the plunger thingy aha.

@CtrlAltDaLEET Fail, the marble is there so you can shake it at a japanese bar and the waiter knows to get you another drink..
