I don't know why they didn't just make the Golden Age Hawkman/Hawkgirl humans who found remains of Thangarian technology in an Egyptian pyrimid and used them to fight crime. Then the silver age could be their son and his girlfriend/wife then the modern ones could be Thangarians who come to Earth looking for Byth. Why is that SO hard. Simplest explination is always the best.

@Mysterwright Maybe he was Katar Hol on his planet but was adopted here or had amnesia and became Carter Hall here somehow. Perhaps one of his powers from Thanagar is to self-replicate himself in any image he desires like all the different Hawkmen in Zero Hour.

I think he'd be great made as a working schizo. Kind of like the alien on American Dad. He's crazy but he's lucid enough to keep up with a conversation. It'd work because Vikings are crazy and Hawkman is a warrior dude.
