@ petermurphreak The guitar player is Jay Price, but both of Peter's sons are very talanted musicians, on guitar and bass respectively. Both play in a band called Strangefruit now.

Woke Up Sticky is a brilliant album...that more people don't know about it is the world's loss.

Peter, you are brilliant. I don't yet own Woke Up Sticky but am going to get it just for this song. Your somewhat unorthodox dress sense, gloriously evident here, is yet another thing to love about the most individual individual in pop music. Ironically, I heard somewhere that the song "Out There in The Night" was written about Peter's "runaway cat"!!! ( so it sounds like our boy was a BIG CAT LOVER!!!...Lol!!!...) I've been to London a couple of times in the past ( mostly at either "Heaththrow" or "Gatwick" ) but I have seen a bit of your town ( are you "familiar" with an area called: "Carter Lane"??... I used to stay at a big "youth hostel" in that London neighborhood but this was back in the 80's!!!...) Anyway, Peter RULES!!!...

@petermurphreak hello mate, sorry it's steptoes aunt, got a different user name now. Back to Peter, well he had his missus who was/ is his manager. You're right about not getting recognition, look at this video, 10,000 odd hits, and a video of a cat playing piano or something gets about 48 million hits.

I wonder if the young guy playing the guitar here is one of Peter's two sons ( Peter Jr or Jamie??...) When you were Peter's "neighbor" was he living alone or did he have a "family"??... Such a TALENTED musician who's never really gotten the RECOGNITION he DESERVES!!!.... Peter is often IMITATED but will NEVER be SURPASSED from the late 70's to the year 5000!!!....

@petermurphreak well it was back in the 90's when i lived in Forest Hill SE London, i'd see him about but he was majorly reclusive, he had two houses in the same street, both falling to bits! you're right about his drug habit, if it wern't for that smack habit he'd probably be alot more well known too, lyrical genius, that first couple of Only Ones albums were full of amazing songs that blow your mind absoloutley 'Breaking Down' 'Another Girl Another Planet' so many. woke up sticky is great.
