  • I was just there yesterday it's so cool we walked 1400ft up to the top of the mountain! It was, night time when we got up there so were able to see buildings light up plus you could see NY city from where we were. Now that was cool!

  • These barns are NOT 16th C. Dutch. They are part of a 650 acre working farm with buildings and grounds that were owned and built by Sigmund Stern, who developed the estate he purchased land between 1904 and 1911.

  • These are actually the ruins of the Cornish Estate built in the 1920's, bankrupt about 20 years later, taken over by the state in the 60's and burned by crazed campers in the late 60's. The dairy barns were heated.
