Convert your standard LCD monitor into a glasses-free 3D display for only $5. This mod uses parallax barriers, which is the same technique as the Nintendo 3DS. With this mod you will be able to play over a hundred popular PC games in full stereo 3D without the use of any 3D glasses.

Find out how you can do this yourself with the full tutorial:

  • My issue is that the only printer I have access to that can do this is extremely far away from me. Like, an hour drive. That would make the trial and error thing pretty difficult. Is there any way else I could ensure I'm getting everything right?

  • @xalener One way to do this is to create one sheet with 5, or even 10 different patterns on it. You can do some math to get in the ball park, and then make a few different sheets with a range of patterns. That way you can test like 30 patterns at one. You will still need trial and error, but it will be faster.

  • Can a program be made to make the monitor automatically switch to parallax?

  • @luisbalderas I am using the IZ3D driver for this. It will let you play just about any PC game in 3D with this mod. I can also watch 3D videos with the Stereoscopic Player. The mode is called "vertical interleaved".

  • hey what version of photoshop did you use? bcuz i have the newest

  • @7704warlock I was using CS3, but really any version should work.

  • @MoolahNasreddin Go try out the Nintendo 3DS when it comes out next week and come back and tell me if you still feel the same about this.
