Lewis Clark Night Out with Debbie Morris on KLEWTV

CLARKSTON HEIGHTS, WA - A local woman recently launched a website to promote entertainment in Idaho.

Debbie Morris is the owner of LewisClarkNightOut.com, a promotional website featuring entertainment businesses in the area south of Couer d'Alene and north of Boise.

"My theory was when I started this, that we are all small towns, small businesses, we don't have a Spokane we don't have a Boise so we're each other's best customers," said Morris.

Her customers include businesses like hotels, restaurants, bands, events and even non-profits.

She travels around town meeting with clients in her office on wheels, a 24-foot motor home.

"I sent my youngest to Boise State, I'm an empty nester, I have a brand new business, it covers a large area and I'm not one to talk with my clients on the phone," said Morris. "I like to establish a relationship with my clients so I put everything in storage, bought this motor home and I literally travel to build this business from the ground up."

Having a mobile business has its advantages. Her office is always with her and everything is at her finger tips.

And having a large family is another benefit. She pulls right into their yard and plugs into their electricity.

"It's a tremendous help," she said. "It saves me hundreds of dollars a month."

Morris was an academic advisor at Lewis-Clark State College for 14 years before losing her job in 2010.

After a year of unemployment, she's happy to be doing something she's passionate about.

"I love it, it's a great job I get to work with amazing people every day it doesn't feel like work to me."
