@soundbeans why do you think Kristin was "acting?" Perhaps because you yourself are totally devoid of compassion for people in dire circumstances?

@jackdu5 Yes total act, her visiting people in need is an act, her personal time being spent devoted as an ambassador for Oxfam is an act, her whole outlook on changing people in needs lives is a WHOLE act. So what have you done recently to help these people........id sure like to know.

My Heart goes out to these poor individuals in these countries...BUT How much aid has been sent from Ireland and the UK over the past 50+ years, Millions if not Billions of Euros' and Pounds and this is still going on. THAT is why I won't contribute anymore because my "€5.00 a month" is actually NOT helping these unfortuante people. Sorry to be harsh but there you go!

Both governments and the Vatican could shed some of their wealth and help these poor creatures, I am a mother of a child of 4 years and die of shame to see so hungry, so much pain.

Kristin is a great person with a huge heart, adorable and loving people and animals, she is not acting, these tears are of anger and pain for all that he saw there and I'm sure if your hand might not happen what is happening there.
If you want to criticize, do it with the Pontiff's visit to Spain.I am ashamed that my country's government is spending on the Pope's visit to the global crisis we have and the famine of Somalia for example.

I'm quite happy to help my neighbours - and I would consider helping Africans when they begin helping themselves. You obviously have no idea how much aid money has gone into Africa from Britain alone over the past fifty years. That is money out of my pocket through tax. Here's one simple example for you - I'm Scottish, the Scottish government gives Malawi £millions every year in aid. Last year we gave them £11,000,000 and the Malawi president spent £2,000,000 on his wedding!!??

@herringfly hum its just bad government in the UK, in Africa .. EVERYTHING is fucked up.. the government, the weather, and the terrorists. They don't have WATER. Any living creature in this planet should have drinking WATER. Its the minimum requirement to LIVE. So get a grip and start helping your NEIGHBORS ok?
Thanks for your heartfelt comment. What's happening is really an atrocity.
