  • I heard in every other language Sailor Moon (except for Japanese and Turkish) is in that they change the storyline, names, etc. Is this true that they do?

  • @AngelOfMine223 im not sure about that, since i've only watched Jap, Eng and Turkish versions.. but i know that they change the names in french version as well. dont know about the story line though..

    hope that helps

  • @AngelOfMine223 however, it is not true that they change the names in every language. they keep the names in turkish, spanish and italian versions. in turkish one, they dont really change the story line; but they change some lines and hide some of the content to make it more 'appropriate' for children.

  • In Japanese Seiya asked "Am I not good enough".

Orijinal: "beni sen korugucam" digil, Seiya "Ben iyi digilmiyiym" soruyor

    sorry my turkish sucks

  • @Mokumokuren13 yes, that is correct =)

they change the words in every translation, and i really hate it! at least the turkish one keeps the names and doesn't change the story and make up another one.. like the english version.

even though the japanese girls sound like theyve all inhaled helium before recoding, i find the japanese version much more emotional than others.

  • @Mokumokuren13 aaaaaaaaaaaaa really?! I knew something is wrong with this conversation here! Thanks for sharing! and BTW he is more than good enough!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL

  • @AngelOfMine223 yep thats true! I was shocked when I first saw the Eng version. All the names and even the relations has changed.

  • I dislike Turkish stuff of animes.

Because most of them are censored or wrong translated -.-

  • @cardcaptorzlove Yeah that's true. And that's what I always say! At least the Turkish dub keeps everything in Japanese like the names and openings...except for the voices :). I love the Turkish dub a lot, I tought this scene was VERY emotional.
