  • this is an a-minor 3 octaven i'm not shure about original name for this tuning. i wanted a minor and here is one guy producing theese instruments.

  • thanx for all that u gave me a comments. i stoped playin violin and percussion, since i have this mbira and iam focused on. this is quite new experience for me - to be a mbira player, and i need advices and ... resonance? how do u find my music. i'm not a virtuoso, but i feel this instrument gave me nice possibilities to improvise and compose. so, please write comments and be cruell:]

  • The tapping made it sound somewhat disjointed to me. I couldn't really pick up on any sort of melody. There were some parts here and there that I liked though, and it is a pretty cool idea. Maybe it will sound better if you play something like that but faster. Keep it up. I like your setup too, did you add the pick-up yourself?

  • yes i add the pickup. maybe i should show what i do on a performances with a loopstation. i like very much slow tempo , givin spoace for the sounds to enjoy the release. try Morton Feldman or Alva Noto music. be well myroboticlove

ps i'll show u my new hat and faster tempo.

  • Put that through a wah or something. That would be killer.

  • I like what you have done here, and with this abstract style you are doing, you should consider using a DL4 or other delay pedal. It will allow you to use your own accoustic beat to set time, which is something that seems a little too organic in this particular performance. Nice work though. Certainly better than me : D

  • What sort of pickup did you put on it?

  • What kind of pic up mic you use, it sounds great!!!

  • What kind of mbira is that? Around here i can only find pentatonic mbiras with just one octave. kind of limited, no?

  • Attempts at re-contextualization, musical re-invention and electrification of the instrument are evident. Yet another page in Krejzimicz's musical diary - a nice try.

  • DO you know any real mbira songs?
