@sickdiggitydog well, pastorius, jeff berlin, alain caron, bunny brunel, gary willis, stuart zender, mark egan, john patitucci, michael manring, rocco prestia, brian bromberg....should i go on? they're all white. would you say they suck at bass? being a good musician is not a matter of race.

aachh!! you need to work ur fingers positioning and hands grip a little bit more they seem to me too weak and unprecise.... but u are on the right path though, keep on practicing man....!!!

I am taking a class on african music right now at UC Santa Cruz, I heard this amazing mans work with N'Dour and am learning about the griots. I am falling in love with music again after playing alternative rock for a little too long. :) Thank you Habib, for helping to bring african musc to more people. I hope to raise my son with music in his daily life. Africa has the most amazing music in the world, whether it be the Eastern Cattle area, kush, guinea coast, or Northern africa. Thank you!
