Republicans Lash Out At Olympia Snowe and Susan Collins!

The Congress passed President Obama's stimulus plan. The Republicans and Democrats voted once again on partisan lines. Three moderate Republicans saved the plan. Republicans were told in November to come up with a reasonable plan before then Senator Barack Obama became President-Elect. Unfortunately, in the minds of Rush Limbaugh and The DUMB Right, the Republicans didn't have an opportunity to read through a 1,700 page bill. Whatever, the Congress were told by President Obama to get something together before he was to sworn in. That's about twelve weeks. So don't believe the hype! Minority Leader John Boehner can't even take care of his own district, let lone complain about "bipartisanship".

My question to you, should Congress take a pay cut before the employees and CEOs of major and local businesses?

The Obama Administration is facing the scrutiny once again for its handling of cabinet members. New Hampshire Republican Senator Judd Gregg recalled his nomination for Commerce Secretary.

Congress finalizes the tax stimulus plan. It's rounding up towards nearly $800 billion dollars.

Three Republican Senators are facing the wrath of conservative talk radio. Senators Olympia Snowe, Susan Collins of Maine and Arlen Specter of Pennsylvania are for now on board with the tax stimulus.

Nadya Suleman is getting death threats from those who watch the Today Show and the conservative news network Fox News. Ms. Suleman is the mother of octuplets in which our news media made famous. Unfortunately the media turns its back on the woman after the media claimed she was on welfare and wanted to look like Angelina Jolie.

President's Day is the official day off for the president. President Obama and the four living presidents celebrate the birthdays of Abraham Lincoln, Ronald Reagan and George Washington. President's Day is the third Monday in February.
