Completely disagree about "better without Anik." Robert Smith rules. Anik has a beautiful voice that slides up and down en francais. An inspired combination. Check out her "Lucifer" which could have found a home on Fascination Street from "Disintegration."

@ricegator i believe you're wrong. I just watched her video and, omg, that's a very common pop rock song. Absolutely nothing in the song is similar to what we can hear in Fascination Street. Well, there's guitars, and drums. But that's it really!

@dparadis1966 Vous avez de bonnes oreilles, monsieur Paradis. Anik et Robert ne se sont jamais rencontrés pour cette chanson. Earl Slick, qui a réalisé l'album d'Anik Jean, a proposé à la chanteuse de refaire une chanson qui se trouvait sur l'un de ses propres albums et à laquelle participait Robert Smith. Il a apporté la bande maîtresse au studio, Anik a enregistré sa propre piste de voix et bingo! Une nouvelle version est née.
