Yes, each console at the time such as Genesis,SNES,Gameboy and Game Gear had a Beavis and Butthead game and each one is different.

I liked the Genesis Beavis and Butthead game. It's not the best game out on Genesis, but it's not as bad as every other Beavis and Butthead game.

I own it on SNES and yes it is the same game.
You made it much further than I did, I never got past the first level, because I hated it that much that I quit playing
