this is a third of my home movies I video taped from the Omni. When I visited that day, it was Sunday and they weren't open so I couldn't video tape inside. If anyone sees my video and has any of the inside I would love seeing it. Please e-mail me.

The old Omni, been there a ton of times for NWA wrestling, the circus, the Flames and Hawks. Too bad the city let it go to rot and had to be replaced. Was a jumping place when Nique had the Hawks winning in the mid-late '80s.

I will always associate the Omni with the Sid & Marty Krofft park that use to be next door in the CNN Building. The Flames definitely will always be a part of the Omni as well as the Barnum and Bailey Circus.

@ratesforless WCW wrestling was always quite an event at the omni. Sting, Flair, Steamboat, Luger all the greats I loved it.

I saw tons of concerts in the Omni.Also Ringling Bros circus,also the ice skaters on tour from the 1988 Olympics when brian Boitano won the gold.Here we go:KISS Aerosmith Van Halen Bee Gees The Commodores The Who The Osmonds Nazareth Boston Queen AC/DC Bryan Adams Foghat Reo Speedwagon Debbie Gibson Paul McCartney The Monkees Styx Village People Andy Gibb Wasp Motley Crue Ozzy Osbourne ZZ Top,just to name a few.There is still more that I can't think of right now.Lots of good times at the Omni.

I remember the Omni from 95, I was at Manpower 3, with Bishop TD Jakes the following year we went to Greensboro N.C. @ Manpower 4, The Omni Was Torn Down by then. I remember trying to look for a listing and could not find it. If anyone wants to see footage of the Omni inside from 1995, look for Manpower 3.........

You're missing the main point, as are the others on here: By far the greatest thing The Omni ever had was the Hawks-Celtics series in 1988.

man! the citizens of Atlanta had it going on when wrestling was there! From the 70's to the mid to late 80's if you was a die hard real fan of wrestling then that building was where u wanted to be!Everything happened there! I can still remember those wrestling promos! Its the omni n atlanta!Thats the omni in Atlanta! Bee theeeeere! classic! man I miss that shit!
