I am noticing that some the fathers on these shows do NOT help out and step in they are just in the background and have an attitude of oh the mother can deal with them. My husband helps out and steps in yes he is working a lot but he still helps out, etc.

A) Spanking is not needed. Honestly, there are other ways of discipline that are just as effective, and the parents should learn how to use them.
B) Jo should start with the oldest one. The mom said that the youngest one mimics his older brothers' bad behavior. If he mimics this, he can certainly copy good behavior.
