I created "Arson Puppy" by matching the lighting of the foreground puppy with the background house fire. In a few easy steps, this is how to do it.

  • I don't understand the purpose of a mask. I also don't understand, when you paint in the red tones at the end of the other video, if you are erasing? hmm.

  • @DelilahZoe A mask lets you erase without permanently damaging the layer. If you were to use just an eraser without a mask, once you eraser, it is "done". You can undo, yes, but what if you were to make 50 other changes after you erase and then you decide "nevermind, I didn't want to erase that afterall," you are screwed and you have to start over. Anyway, I hope that helps. I have to make a better video because this is old and the technques are more streamlined.
