hi, I've been checking your video over and over and I'm wondering cuz im gonna get laptop from dell that has the same graphics, can you tell me if these specs would work for Gears of War?

Dell Vostro 2510 (similar to 1510)

256mb Geforce 8400M GS

3gb DDR2 RAM

I posted those on Yahoo answers and majority said it wont work cuz the graphics sux, but as I see your video on the game, it can play it...plz help, thnx

yeah, the game works a little bit better than my video (you have 128MB more than me). I can play COD4, Kane & Lynch, Crysis and UT3 on my laptop (but not at full settings). Just compare the specs.

hmm, maybe the problem is a windows task process that slows the game, close all the processes that you don't use. Update your video card driver to Forceware 177.41, is the better driver for GF 8400M GS. And if still doesn't run... try updating your operating system. Good luck!

When I'm trying to run this game the menu is slow as hell. I decreased all the settings but to no avail. My specs are yours with 3gb ram and 256 mb graphics. What's the problem?

@secret850 Depends , whats the Name of the video card? . Anything over an Nvidia Geforce6600 or and Ati x700 should run it . But those are the minimum, you will be able to play it with a geforce6600 or atix700 but probably on the lowest settings.But ofcourse your processor and memory will have to be enough for the too. If you have an Integrated graphics chipset, then it probably wont play so well, it might "run" but would be terribly laggy.

I have the same video card and its also a duo core at 1.8ghz with 2Gb of ram on my Sony Vaio and get the same performance
