@EntranceDenied Part 2: would have to switch to a complety new transmission format, which is something they simply wouldnt do. this is the same reason why 3d tvs will never become mainstream.

@EntranceDenied Part 1: that also explains why there are more entrepeneurs and patent holders in the US than any other country combined. this technology in its curent state is useless. the past five years of it going nowhere should show that. also, mind u that this is simply a prototype, as u can tell from the small size of the model. also, for this technology to become practical for practical applications, the entire indutry i.e. gaming consols, dvd players, and satalite/cable
