FIAT Currency is ENSLAVING US ALL, through an economy based on DEBT. This debt is printed pieces of paper. This also contains interviews with John Perkins, Confessions of an Economic Hitman. He explains how the CIA / MI6, send in agents to buy off leaders, in countries, where they want to steal all the natural resources. MONEY IS DEBT - that's what makes FIAT currency and fractional reserve banking to dangerous. it is a way of controlling society, that is hidden in plain view. It also causes inflation and booms and busts.

I'm not sure about the Fed purchasing government debt example...I think this is the exception rather than the rule, I believe the debt is sold at auction to many buyers world-wide...

and yes, the money is created from debt...basically, the debt is issued based on the taxing capability of government, which makes sense to an extent but could get out of control...
