The music was not written by Pelageya. This is a folk song. The story is almost 350 years old - this is a legend about a dream of a Volga kossak Stepan Razin he'd seen in his sleep before he was captured and executed. Pelageya's performance of this song is one of the best I've ever heard!

Oh, it wasn’t the evening, wasn’t the evening…
Oh, I slept so little, I slept so little
Oh, a dream appeared
I slept so little, oh, a dream appeared

This is very old Russian Folk song, There is even one English variant. I will put the link here when I find it. The song is really beautifull, it is about Russian soul, endless russian stepppes ( fields ) about the life. He sleeps and sees the night dream....
