  • Outstanding to watch thos process. So nice to see the family working together. I enjoy your videos and can't wait to share them with my wife and son. We are slowly transforming our lives into the same way of life. Truly living! I have a question about the logs..... do you keep them stacked like that against the barn the whole time they are growing?

  • @BrokenRRT They could stay like that against the barn, but we moved them because I thought that spot was too hot. Better to keep them shaded to prevent drying. I highly recommend our way of life for those with the interest :) It is quite an adventure, but at least we know we are alive.

  • Very informative and nice to see several generations working together.

I would love to see a follow-up video.

I'm very curious how the logs were placed out, under which conditions and especially what their current state is.

    Greet and thanks.

  • Just posted a new video of the current state. Looks like we are getting fruit! Although longer than I thought it would be.

  • i nvr seen that b4 cool to learn ty for posting

  • We stacked the logs firewood style and monitored the weight of a couple of logs for moisture content. We had a good amount of rain and only soaked them during one dry period. I believe the logs are close to ready to fruit ... I tested one last week by putting in water for a day ... it put out a few mushrooms. I'll do another video sometime this fall if we get some fruit.
