Dostum and Northern Alliance are yet another blot on ur face because u supported him against Taliban. he is the worst war criminal known in Afghanistan Pakistan ... get ur facts about dostum straight. his men's brutality and rape and pilage was the first reason for the taliban to emerge in Afghanistan to bring peace and tranquility... give him a million soldiers and he still couldn't face Taliban.

Alexander the great , the British empire (twice) and the Soviet union , all of them didn't succeeded in Afghanistan.What makes you think General Dostum was better than Alexander the Great ?Do you know the nick name of Afghanistan ? The graveyard of Empires.

BTW , the Soviets had 500000 boots on the ground.

4 years ago, when General Dostum said ''let me have 10 000 men, I will finish the Taliban or myself''. Why didn't the U.S and Corrupt Karzai govt, did not accept it? So you really dont want the job finished. The person who defeated the terrorist within 5 weeks is now considered the warlord, the human rights violater and etc.. if this way is American policy against its real friend, trust me, after 5 years, U.S will also be defeated in Afg.

Dostum is hero because, he finished the job of eliminating Taliban and Alqaida within 5 weeks with the help of 500 Americans, and you the U.S and its alies, couldn't do it during 7 years. Shame man. It means, you don't want the job finished, because, there will be no justifcation lift to stay in Afghanistan. Have good intentions to win a war. The U.S intentions are considered bad among Afghans as I said.

He is right mostly, but why is he saying these things now. why didn't he tell when he was CIA chief? Is he after money and fame by publishing the book or is he really a patriot? The person who defeated Taliban and everybody knows it, General Rashid Dostum has been marginalize, so if it is the way the american tough men keep thier word and pay for the good things the recieve, so they are defeated. What if the northern Afg stands against the Allied forces led by Dostum? Respect Dostum, the hero.
