Jeanette Walls rose from extreme poverty to write the best seller "The Glass Castle", a memoir of her childhood. She uses stories from her youth to inspire other women to do the same, like at Monday's "Women Helping Women" lunch. KXLY4's Kalae Chock reports.

  • Amazing book. It is soooo hard to believe it was true, like how someone could live like that. But amazing book none the less.

  • Perhaps she preferred to Virginia, rather that West Virginia for a number of reasons. A powerful story, nevertheless.
