The students are not the victims in this situation. They're the perpetrators. If they behaved properly, they'd have proper teachers.

if a teacher in leeds hit a student with a cane he would have a serious problem , i agree with you but .... a lot of teachers would get stabbed or jumped honestly , the country is not the same as it was , policemen used to give kids a clip round the ear , respect for elders and general order has gone now .

i go to intake high school - im in year 8 and i always get supplys - were getting something like 30million pounds to make it into Leeds West Academy but it will never change most the teahcers are AWEFUL!! but some are really nice all the teachers change around the inpectors and they still take out all the naughty kids! it aint fair on us!!

they should reinstitute the cane.
when i was a student i would have been on the business end of a few canings, but it would have been well worth it if i could have learned in a few lessons without having to bear the "disruption" caused by "behaviourals".
