I was lucky enough to go with my friend Marc-Olivier to carry back the Beech 76 Duchess N3803E from Portland (Oregon) to its home base San Diego (California) and PlusOne. This part one shows the departure from runway 21 at Porland KPDX, some shots in IFR, slaloming between clouds and light storm, a brief sequence with the outstanding feature of Garmin GPSMap 496 with the XM Weather and the landing in Sacramento executive
All was recorded in HD720p with two Sanyo Xacti HD1000 camcorder. sorry for the poor quality of the Sacramento landing (wrong tuning in the Xacti). One was connected to the radio communication with a patch cord. Edited with Sony Vegas
Next part will show the california part, VFR Coliseum route to overfly Los Angeles and the landing in San Diego.

J'ai eut la chance d'accompagner mon ami Marc-Olivier dans le convoyage du Beech 76 Duchess immatriculé N3803E entre Portland (Oregon) et son aéroclub PlusOne à San Diego (California). Cette première partie montre le décollage de la piste 21 de Portland KPDX, quelques vues de la croisière IFR slalomant entre les nuages et les orages, une bref séquence de la fantastique fonction XM Weather du Garmin GPSMap 496 et l'atterrissage à Sacramento Executive.
