Please Watch ALL my videos in High quality. The divison of Tawheed into its componets wasn't done by the Propeht (peace be upon him) nor by his Companions, as there was no necessity to analyze such a bisc principle of faith in this fashion. However, the foundations of the componets are all implied in the verses of the Qur'an and in the explanatory statements of the Propeht (peace be upon him) and his Companions (may Allah be please with them all). 1. Ar-Rububiyah (Maintaing the Unity of Lordship): This category is based on the fundamental concept that Allah alone cause all things to exist when there was nothing; he sustains and maintains creation without any need from it or for it; and He is the sole Lord of the universe and its inhabitants without any real challenge to his sovereignty. In arabic the word used to describe the creator-sustainer quality is Rububiyah which is derived from the root Rabb (Lord). 2.Al-Asma Was-Sifat (Maintaining the Unity of Allah's names and attributes): For this to be maintained in the first aspect, Allah must be referred to according to how He and His Prophet have described Him, without explaning awat His names and attributes by giving them meanings other than their obvious meanings. For example anger is one of God's attributes. It's incorrect to say that His anger must mean His punishment since anger is a sign of weakness in man and, as such, not befitting of Allah. Allah has stated in the Quran 42:11 "There is nothing like him". 3. Al-Ibadah (Maintaing the Unity of Worship): In spite of the wide implications of the first two categories of Tawheed, firm belief in them alone is not sufficient to fulfill the Islamic requirments of Tawheed. Tawheed ar-Rububiyah and Tawheed Al-Asma Was-Sifat must be accompanied by their complement, Tawheed al-Ibadah, in order for Tawheed to be considered complete according to Islam. The most important aspect of Tawheed is that of Tawheed Al-Ibadah, maintaing the unity of Allah's worship. All forms of worship must be directed to only Allah because He alone deserves worship, and it is He alone who can grant benefit to man as a result of His worship.
