Like religions, feminism insists, on an omnipotent male conspiracy to keep women oppressed, and thus, justifies the continued avoidance of men's issues debates.
I am suing the largest of Europe's several hundred gender studies departments, at LSE, for sex discrimination, and ask all atheists to watch my video here, called Tom Martin sues LSE... then read the press, listen to the interviews and donate to the legal fighting fund at sexismbusters. Enjoy!

I think an appropriate response to his beginning statement would be: "Well Mr. Hitchens, since you claim it is so repulsive and revolting for you to throw your own sin on someone else and have them take it. Then you bear it. You rightly take the penalty for your sin and all that it entails. If you are offended that God, whom you have sinned against will take the penalty of your sin into him so as to redeem you, then you bear the burden and consequence of your sin"

Surely Jesus was talking about original sin which belongs to all mankind even babies not individual sin for which he makes abundantly clear the individual must take responsibility.
I am not taking sides in this matter

Jesus sacrificed himself to absolve humanities sins? I could do that.
Indeed, everyday people are dying after suffering worse fates.
If I got crucified, would that make me god too?

@paleface8 Bad house burning example pal! Makes no sense! How about you as a child killed another child, told your dad, and your father forgives you, because he loves you and does not want to see you in jail. See?.... Makes no sense and illogical for you to pass the blame and be forgiven by someone other than the victim or relative...

Child can't get out of the burning house example is just ignorant; how deluded do you have to be to even come up with such extreme example to defend your faith? Which part of that refers to our own morality? Hitchen was talking about 'If you sin'd, then you are to face the responsibility yourself; not push that responsibility to someone else. You are allowing scapegoating - killing virgins to take away sins of entire village was common immoral practice that went around before enlightment.

His point on Jesus dying for us and taking our sins , does not take our responsibility from us. this point shows me all i need to see because if he lies here on this issue , he will lie on more. If your father saves you from a burning house , hes not being immoral but saving that which he loves. Hitchens is saying if his child cant get out the burning house then his child should take responsibility and die. He was truly blind! Now hes in a burning house!
RIP, Mr. Hitchens. Thanks for reiterating what I've been saying for years: that people "forgive" themselves via the religious figure without once consulting those who have been harmed by them. How unbelievably selfish and delusional.
