That's because it has the same floor numbering, such as 4 front openings, and 1R/2R being the rear doors.

Yes, because I talk to the UT Austin Elevator Project Manager a lot, and he said this is a Schindler elevator. Also, the Epco Inchline hall stations are also called Schindler HXpress hall stations for retrofit use.
