No they didn't, they spread through violent conquest. Especially Tibetan Buddhism. And the video makes a mistake, hindus did conquer areas as far as Indonesia, so yes Hinduism spread through the sword.

@TechTalker34 "It is still used in the villages today, but not in main cities. " It's officially illegal in all of India but it's still practiced in various places. The "untouchables" are still heavily discriminated against, in Hindu dominated circles anyway.

" Well it's around 24 officially recognized languages, and even more only proves the point made in the video you're trying to dispute more. The nation of "India" is a new concept.
