blackbody radiation like that, so it emits from the red spectrum of light, occurs at about 1,000C+... yes you would taste something, and it would probably taste quite good. for a millisecond untill your tounge is burnt off and you have the rock you just ingested melt its way back through the bottom of your chin.

Pretty much, the rock was already melted, and it's actually freezing right in front of your eyes.....
But aside from that, awesome footage! :D
