From the first day of 1960 through the last day of 1964, here is the first half of this decade's No. 1 hits in the USA, according to Billboard.

To travel through all three decades in order ('50s, '60s, '70s), click the "Video Response" link on each page.

Billboard Magazine's archives may not include every issue, but can still be very useful: http://www.billboard.com/#/archive
Cash Box Magazine's archives provide every weekly chart for the period covered: http://cashboxmagazine.com/archives.htm

The slide show is of random records and images of that decade, not in any particular order and not intended to match up with the fast-moving audio track.
