Silent footage of the St. Louis based radio controlled glider club "Signal Chasers."

Originally based at Buder Park in St. Louis county these rc enthusiasts moved East of the Mississippi
for fields of their own. Cahokia Mounds and other locations. I do not know the actual location of this footage.

Special thanks to Mr. Bob Gill, Tony Eaststep (sp?) and Bob Walsh for many fond memories.

Footage shot by Thomas P. McCarthy (St. Louis, Coyle high school 1951) and posted in memory of him.

  • Bob Gill taught me how to fly sailplanes in the '70's here in Springfield, IL and I knew Tony Eastep as well. That film brought back a lot of memories.
