Disappointing performance. Didn't hit our stride whatsoever. Szczesny can be a bit overly confident at times. Vermaelen looked to have sured up the defence, Santos was appalling imo.

Another positive is that we didn't have any injuries, which is as important as the point we got to go 8 points and remain in the lead of our group.

Apparently RVP was fatigued, hence the reason he was on the bench till later in the game. Vermalen was really assured, like he'd hadn't been out of action. Per had a decent performance. Santos was caught out of position several times, and that's a concern. Going forward he is another viable attacking option but against the best teams his defensive liabilities or lapses in concentration could prove more costly. We had a few chances but the team lacked sharpness. Credit is due to Marseille.
