While driving on Iowa 7 just west of Iowa 4 around 2245 on July 21, 2011, I spotted these lights all flashing at the same time, and decided to video them.
They are hazard warnings for large wind-generation machines, and although I do not have a capacity for these monsters, would guess it to be in the one-to-five-megawatt range.
Since everyone has seen what these look like during daylight hours, I thought it would be cool to show what a wind farm looks like at night.
