The latest timetable has enhanced the Waterloo to Weymouth services to every half an hour.
This still means that Upwey, Moreton and Wool will continue to get an hourly stopping service, whilst Hamworthy, Wareham and Dorchester South will enjoy two trains an hour along the line.
No 442 on Tuesday for my visit to Weymouth, a 444 both ways, but unlike the rolling stock I'm used to in my home county of Cumbria, these SW Trains units are very quiet and you hardly notice that the train is moving.

Unusual to see a 442 pass Upwey without stopping, thought all Weymouth trains stopped there? Where was it going?

London Waterloo, it was about 6:30 am and those trains don't tend to stop at Upwey.
